1. FUEL UP WITH VITAMIN-RICH FOODS
Summer is the perfect time to load up on fresh, seasonal veggies. Think carrots, spinach, kale, and artichokes — all packed with beta-carotene to support clear skin and a strong immune system. Not a fan of greens? Try blending spinach or kale into a chocolate protein smoothie. (They’ll never taste it!)
2. HYDRATE LIKE A PRO
Staying hydrated is one of the simplest ways to keep your teen feeling and looking good. Water helps keep skin clear, boosts energy, and helps the body absorb all those great nutrients from summer meals. Pro tip: Keep a reusable water bottle nearby and aim for 8+ cups a day.
3. PRIORITIZE SLEEP
With school out, it’s tempting to stay up late and sleep in. But teens still need 8–10 hours of solid sleep for mood, memory, and overall health. Encourage a chill bedtime routine — no screens an hour before bed can really make a difference.
4. SCALE BACK ON DAIRY (IF NEEDED)
For some teens, too much dairy can aggravate acne. If your teen’s skin is acting up, try cutting back on milk, cheese, or ice cream for a few weeks and see if things improve. There are plenty of non-dairy options to try in the meantime.
